My goal is to make each and every client love their home. To create a place of beauty and comfort, that functions perfectly for the way their family lives. A place that reflects their unique personality and the story of their life.
I'm Amy Hopkins, an ASID allied Interior Designer in Winston-Salem, NC. I have been a lover of interior design for as long as I can remember. As a child I clipped pictures of furniture out of catalogs to create homes for my paper dolls. I would draw floor plans of my dream house and loved seeing before and after photos of rooms in magazines. I started focusing on my career path in high school, taking drafting and interior design classes that were offered at my school. I decided to stay in my hometown of Boone, NC (because who wouldn't want to stay there) to attend Appalachian State University. I graduated in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Housing and Interiors, after completing an internship with a design firm in Asheville, NC. Upon graduating I moved to Columbia, SC where I spent a couple of years working as a design assistant at a residential design firm. Although the mountains will always have a big piece of my heart, I now happily call Winston-Salem home. I have been living and working as an Interior Designer in Winston-Salem since 2000. When not working I can often be found snuggling my greyhound, hiking, visiting family, biking, watching my husband race his various types of bicycles, reading, and organizing precious family photos. I have enjoyed getting to know all of my clients throughout the years, and doing my part to help them make their house a home they love.
